Incoming! That new Motorpsycho CD and DLP we were so excited about last week? Finally arrived today. Otherwise we're welcoming new albums from Aloha, The Knife (an electro opera with collaborators), The Besnard Lakes, Liars (available on CD & deluxe DCD; DLP delayed), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Broken Bells (Shins guy & Danger Mouse), Pavement (new best of), Jason Collett (from Broken Social Scene), Frightened Rabbit, jj, Jimi Hendrix (a new album, really), Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, White Hinterland, Morning Benders, Titus Andronicus...

Wax On: On the vinyl front we've got LP versions most of the hot new titles above, most of which come with download codes; plus 45s from The Shanks, Diamond Rings and The Unwed Teenage Mothers; a new Charalambides LP; a slew of Hendrix, Oval and Pavement vinyl reissues; that Motorpsycho DLP and a new, very limited Motorpsycho 7" single.

Rocking Our World: The upcoming album from The Tallest Man On Earth, the new Mimicking Birds, the new Liars, all three Black Cab albums, Bjorn Olsson's Instrumental Musik... and The Didjits catalog, duh.

I also got to visit Big Grove Tavern during the soft open and definitely enjoyed the pork belly the most of all the dishes I sampled. The cheesy grits and the vinegary pickled vegetables were a perfect compliment to the rich pork belly.
